Description
VISUAL BASIC EXPRESS FOR KIDS is a tutorial consisting of 10 chapters explaining (in simple, comfortable-to-follow terms) how to build a Visual Basic Express Windows application. Students learn about project design, the Visual Basic Express toolbox, and numerous elements of the BASIC language.
Numerous examples are used to demonstrate every step in the building process. The tutorial as well includes several detailed computer projects for students to build and try.
These projectsincludea number guessing game, a card game, an allowance calculator, a drawing program, a state capitals game, Tic-Tac-Toe and even a simple video game.
It is presented using a combination of over 400 pages of course notes and actual Visual Basic Express examples. This material should be understandable to kids aged 10 and up.
