Virtual DJ is designed to help amateur or professional DJs to create great audio and video mixes. Basically with this app one can fulfill all the tasks performed by a DJ in a traditional way, such as selecting the music, mixing and modifying tracks using different effects for adding their personal touch.
 
Once you get started, you need to drag and drop the tracks you want into the virtual decks and then the app will calculate automatically the BPM (beats per minute) and length and will make the necessary pitch adjustments to match the BPM of both songs. After that, the beats of both tracks have to be synchronized so the songs sound as one. The rhythm window will display the beats of each song so you can see if the songs are matched and synched. Only then the DJ will begin using the crossfader, volume faders and equlizer to bring the new track into the mix and modify it with various effects.
 
Many sound and video effects can be activated for both decks such as backspin, beatgrid, ClipBank, Karaoke and more. For the most creative part of the process, song’s remixing, this product allows you to add scratches, samples and loops in your mix in many creative ways. You only have to use your imagination and let Virtual DJ manage the technical aspects for you.
 
The powerful sampler future allows you to record, load, save and play samples in a linear or circular (looping) fashion.
