Description
The output can be a PDF or HTML file. Supported lightweight markup:
* Markdown
Markdown is a Text Formatting Syntax. Why TxTx
As a software engineer I spend a lot of my time in text editor's and IDE's. When it comes to writing manuals and other stuff I just hate wordprocessors. I like Markdown because you can write without distraction in a text editor. One solution I found is WriteMonkey, but I didn't like the interface. Therefore I decided to write a text processor, which 'compiles' the text with lightweight markup into PDF. Libraries
TxTx uses the following open source projects:
* http://code.google.com/p/markdownsharp * http://code.google.com/p/wkhtmltopdf
Usage
TxTx is written in C# .NET, therefore the .NET Framework is needed.
Syntax:
TxTx.exe InputFile.txt
TxTx can easily be used in a text editor. For example in Notepad++, create this Execute command:
`$(NPP_DIRECTORY)\TxTx\TxTx.exe "$(FULL_CURRENT_PATH)"`
