Description
SYMPLiK EXZELLENZ is a Java program to manipulate table data in Oracle database by using Microsoft Excel file. Unlike Oracle WebADI, More4Apps or other Excel-driven solution, this program does not use Office VBA (Macro) to process the data. It is a pure Java solution incorporated with Apache POI and Oracle JDBC driver to download, upload, insert, update and delete data from Oracle database tables.

"SYMPLiK EXZELLENZ 1.4 Build 55" Features:
* Pure Java implementation, platform independent. Requirement: JRE 5 or higher
* Support Microsoft Excel 97-2005 format (xls) and 2007 format (xlsx). Open Office friendly (as long as you save the file in Excel format).
* Five different operations:
o Template - create blank Excel worksheet with table or view definition.
o Download - download data from selected columns of a database table or view. User can specify "where clause" and "order clause" for the data.
o Upload - Insert data from Excel template to tables.
o Update - Update user-specified data changes in the Excel worksheet to database table.
o Delete - Delete user-specified row of data in Excel worksheet from database table
* Support both direct JDBC connection and EBS App DataSource connection. Language, EBS credentials, and responsibility can be specified if you want to download data from language-specific and org-ID specific views.
* Personalization allows hiding certain fields in the GUI so that business users can use this program without messing up the settings.
