Description
This technology is used to provide management and control over devices and applications on the network by means of management information exchange between agents located on network devices and managers located on control stations. Usually, SNMP agents send management information to control systems in the form of variables (such as "free memory", "system name", "the number of running processes"). Our program allows you to receive a list of variables and their values and log them for further analysis. Depending on the values of these variables, you can generate signals and warnings.
What problems can be solved with SNMP Data Logger?
SNMP Data Logger comes with built-in notification or even scripting capabilities. In the case that anything remarkable is found in any of SNMP variable values that the program is currently monitoring, it could simply send off an email or even execute another action. This saves administrators a lot of tedious labor in monitoring many network devices.
Getting started is easy. SNMP Data Logger is ready!
After installation start SNMP Data Logger from the Start Menu. Click the green plus button, add your SNMP agents and theirs variables to the configuration. Then define how you want the SNMP data to be logged and exported.

Windows service mode. Unlike most other serial logging applications, SNMP Data Logger can run as a service so that it starts as soon as the operating system starts and doesn't require a user to log in and run it. It will continue to run even as users logon and logoff the workstation.
