Working with a software that does not support MDI, means that multiple sessions of the same software must be opened for every client, but using a MDI program, there is no need to open more than one session of the program, because as many clients as wanted can be opened from it, and they will be displayed in their respective child windows. Using Shuttle FTP Suite, you can open several sessions of each implemented protocol (FTP, Telnet, Ping, Whois, DNS, Finger, ...), and open sessions of different clients from the main program.
