River Past DVD QuickRip does one simple thing - rip DVD into individual VOB folders based on chapters. On a DVD-Video disc, the VOB folders are not based on video clips. Each VOB may contain multiple videos, or one vidoe may span over several VOB files. This cases a problem for file-based video and audio transposer and editor software because they will only read the first clip (chapter) in a VOB file. DVD QuickRip will rip the disc to individual VOB folders based on chapters. You can easily use the ripped VOB folders in a transposer software to change to other formats, or even in some MPEG editing software.
