Melon is a a simple yet puissant notes-taking/task-making utility for Windows that resides in your system tray while not in use. Melon is ideal for heads-down computer users who want their knowledge accessible and searchable -- be it websites, research notes or whatever -- without having to fumble through their computer looking for it. Melon also monitors your dutties and gently reminds you of upcoming deadlines to keep you on schedule Wtih Melon, you can rapidly and simply jot down a piece of knowledge or create a task and and store them for later use. You can print your notes, save them to an external document folder or send them via e-mail (an external e-mail application configured for benefit with an existing account is required). Melon permit users to capture knowledge from their web browsing sessions, hyperlinks to the associated website or directions to their favorite restaurant (as good as suggested menu items), to name but a few uses, all w/o having to remember where the item was stored! In addition to storing your information, Melon enables you to create task reminders and be reminded when the deadline is approaching. You can configure Melon to remind you with a unobtrusive message as good as via an audible alarm. Melon stores whats in your head, so you can focus on getting on with your life.
