A new ore discovered in space allows the manufacture of computer chips that run at speeds never thought possible. Long-time space mining operations that were once struggling financially are now scrambling for ways to meet demand.

You are the owner of a space mining company that has developed a revolutionary new drilling system which increases production by 10-fold over current methods.

Now your task is to build a space platform, and maneuver the drills into place around the ore. Once the drills dig into the rock, production will begin and computer manufacturers will start buying. Unfortunately, pirate stations are building up around you.

They are intercepting shipments of these new drills before they can get to your site. Even worse, they're sending in ships to destroy your whole station. Your only choice is to strike back.

You will have to launch attacks against pirate stations and retrieve your stolen drill equipment. In addition, you will have to buy weapons to defend your station, while also developing your skills in ship-to-ship combat. You might also uncover weapon technology secrets at pirate sites that let you upgrade your own weapons.
