Chirp is a fun Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5 that allows you to quickly and easily keep tabs on your microblogging, Web 2.0 life. With Chirp, you can quickly view your friends' latest updates, and post links, updates, or even send direct messages to your friends. Microblogging has been taking the world by storm — and now, Chirp brings the best of it to your Dashboard!
It's easy to get started with Chirp. Once you have downloaded and put Chirp into your Widget Bar, Chirp will automatically flip over and prompt you for your credentials. Simply select your microblogging service, enter your username and password, choose which feed you want to see, and pick a color scheme. Once you have configured Chirp, you're ready to get started! All you have to do is use Chirp as your everyday microblogging client!
We also suggest that you add Chirp as a friend on Twitter, Jaiku, Identi.ca, or FriendFeed. This will allow you to keep up with the latest news on Chirp's development, as well as any tips and tricks for using Chirp.
