What is Bax It! Bax It! is a Windows program that safeguards your data, most of your software, by intelligently backing it up to a second hard drive. How to Install Download the single .zip file. Save that downloaded document folder to a place (eg Program Files ) that suits you. In Windows XP you can right click and Extract All and choose or create a folder to save it to (eg Bax It 3 ) Once you have the downloaded zip document folder in the desired folder then you can open the zipped folder and extract all files. Most people will be using Win XP so its just a right click and choose Extract All . The opened zip folder (and the extracted records too) looks like this: In fact this is a good way to ensure that you do have the right zip document folder and that nothing is different. If your visual check of the document folder sizes and document folder names shows the exact same then you can be sure you have the right zip.
