Ad Hunter is aimed at advertisers who intend to use Googles AdWords pay-per-click advertising program. The AdWords program can be expensive if you dont know what youre doing, especially in fiercely competitive areas such as finance, holidays, web hosting and the like. The list is huge. Pay-per-click (PPC) is all about keywords - finding those keywords which people use in a search engine, such as Google, to find what theyre looking for. If you can find a popular keyword, which has only a handful of advertisers bidding for it then youve a chance of paying only pennies if someone clicks your AdWords advertisement. Sounds easy. Sounds simple, right? Like so many things in life, thats only half the equation. The other half is Googles Quality Score, which measures not only the relevance of your AdWords ad, but also the relevance of the page which the ad clicks through to. While no one except Google really knows, the quality score may also depend on not just the landing page, but also the whole of the web site of which it forms a part.
